Seller found it is not suitable because a mechanic changed my distributor to a Bosch without my knowledge just before leaving Melbourne. The complete kit is unused and in the original packaging and I wonder if any club member would be interested in changing their Stag to electronic ignition and acquiring it at a bargain price.
It will suit either a Lucas single point contact Mk 1 or double contact points Mk 2.

I have the long engine block, with standard twin SU carbs and accessories, a manual gearbox in excellent condition, gas tank, driveshaft, front and rear suspensions, pedal box unit, power brake unit, completel instrumentation, steering wheel and column ignition key, wiring, four standard mag wheels in perfect condition, in fact the spare Michelin still looks new, never touched the road. I don't have a clutch assembly or manual flywheel though, as the car was an auto (sold with the body), I sourced the rebuilt gearbox separately. It still shows the actual 135,175 kays on the speedo.
