This car and its owner are well known in Canberra club circles, the former having been restored on a rolling basis over the last 20 years. The ‘Birth Certificate’ shows it started life in Houston TX, found its way to Adelaide in the early 90s, was converted to RHD then moved to Royalla near Canberra, where a new owner installed the original Lucas PI system. Since 2004 with the current owner, it has undergone a complete progressive makeover with two-pack paint , new aluminium fuel tank, Bosch fuel pump, Bosch alternator, complete new interior with burr walnut dash and door tops, new hood and cover when folded, tonneau, hi-torque starter, spin oil filter, new alloy wheels, Tunstall rear drive half shafts, engine overhaul and balance with period badges and exterior trim. The PI fuel unit was also overhauled by Greg Tunstall in Brisbane. It has only been driven 7000 miles in the last 19 years with one trip to Sydney for the NRMA Australia Day exhibition.. Reluctant sale due lack of storage and owner’s increasing age! The car comes with some spares, tools and many books on maintenance, PI set up details, and Triumph TR6 Manual.
It is an ideal club car for the any enthusiast.

A triumph badged 2500 PI carbureted car for sale. 1974 auto sedan. Not run since 2001 and has been under a carport during the entire time. One owner car. Interior still in good condition. Good restorable car.

Triumph TR4

Partially restored - unfinished project.
This was fully stripped back, rust treated, filled and primed - then motivation was lost and it sat in a shed covered.
This is not your standard TR4 motor. It is fully original but it was fully rebuilt, bored and relined, racing pistons, high lift cam, approx 11-1 compression, approximately 140HP. It has only done approximately 20-25k miles since the rebuild.
The original cartridge oil filter has been replaced with a spin-on filter adapter.
All suspension is for racing and road. Extremely rigid drives like a very fast go cart.
It has only been used on the road and NEVER on a race track.
All parts are with it including original bumper’s.
Brakes and clutch were replaced but need the hydraulics checking as it has been sitting for years.
It was last started and running 2 years ago.
Only surface rust as seen in pics. Had new wings and all rust removed and inner panels replaced.
Was fully serviced before taking off the road.
This is a great project for someone to complete and end up with a fun little race car or a classic British car.
