Hi Shane,
I think you may need to contact our website publisher Adrian who is also our secretary. The email is on the home page. If you are a member you can log in and submit an article with pictures.
Have you joined TSOA as a member? The club has lots to offer socially and competition, locally and interstate.
I am going to Wakefield Park, NSW in June to watch the all British race weekend. On the sunday, the races are for the same make , ie Triumph only. A few GT6's amongst them and they do very well, mind you they do have a few modifications. It is also a social event as we have a dinner on the Saturday night for all the Triumph people.

Hi guys,
Just an update on my progress with the 1967 GT6 MK1. I have updated my profile with a new pic of the freshly painted (HSV Sting Red) GT6. I have now fitted a new Burled Walnut timber dash, new Mono-Lite S/S and timber steering wheel, new timber gear knob, new rubber seals all round including both doors and rear hatch, new window winders, new window seals, sound and heat proofing to the front floor and walls, new glovebox, new top dash cover, new dash support, new door locks, new bullet chrome side mirrors, new sun visors, re-chromed the front over riders, fitted headlight mesh protectors.
Starting to look great. Still needs a tune up. I still need to do something about the wheels? I have had some re-locating/re-plumbing of pipework etc. done under the bonnet, to clear some space so A/C can be fitted. Still have to have re-upholstery work done on repairing driver's seat and recovering all inside panels and seats. That should just about do it. Oh, I need new seatbelts as well(there is always something else!!!).
cheers, Shane. |
