TR2

The TR2 was designed to replace Standard-Triumph\'s 2000 Roadster. It was introduced in August 1953 with a basic price of £555. The TR2 was powered by a 4 cylinder 1991cc engine that produced 90bhp at 4800rpm.

TR3
The TR3 replaced the TR2 in October 1955. Over its lifetime it was uprated to TR3A (1957), the first British car to adopt front disc brakes. Its engine was rated at 100bhp at 5000rpm. A model designated as TR3B was built specifically for the US market

TR4
The TR4 with a dramatically new shape styled by Michelotti, was released in 1961. Its engine is slightly larger at 2138cc, but was still rated at 100bhp at 4700rpm. In 1965, the TR4A was introduced with its main feature being independent rear suspension and engine output of 104bhp.

TR5
The TR5 was launched in October 1967, with a 2498cc 6 cylinder fuel injected engine producing 150bhp. This model remained current for only 15 months and only about 3000 were sold. A rare item indeed.
Tooltip
TR6
The TR6 was produced from 1969 until 1975. TR6s retained the same engine as TR5, but output was reduced to 124bhp. Body design was by Karmann of Germany.

TR7
TR7 – a new breed of TR – arrived in 1975. This sports car was very different from all previous TR models in its appearance, but was extremely popular with the motoring public. It reverted to a 4 cylinder engine of 1998cc outputting 105bhp. The rear end once more became a live axle with coil springs
Tooltip
TR8
The TR8 uses the same body as the TR7 only fitted with Triumphs version of an EFI Rover 3500 V8. This was sadly the last TR produced, convertible TR8's are a still a sort after commodity.
Tooltip
Dolomite
Dolomites were fitted with an 1850 cc OHC four cylinder engine and came in 4 speed manual with optional  over drive and 3 speed automatic. The Dolomite SPRINT is basically the same car with a 2000cc 16 valve version of the standard Dolomite engine. Dolomite Sprints are still very competative race car.
Tooltip
GT6
The GT6 is basically a hard top version of the Spitfire fitted with the 2000cc engine from the sedans rather than the little 4 cylinder Spitfire engine. A lot of owners replace the engine with the bigger 2500cc engine from the sedans and the Lucas PI system. The end result could loosely be described as some where between exhilarating and dangerous

Stag
The Stag was released in September 1970. The body was designed by Micholetti (see TR4)and powered by its own unique Triumph designed 3000cc SOHC V8 that produced 145bhp. All Stags came with a removeable hardtop and foldaway soft top. The Stag V8 convertible was astounding value for money, less than half the cost of its rivals.
